I’m Sarah, the photographer behind West Oak Dog Photography. My dogs — Oakley, Westley, and Teddy — are the reason I care so deeply about preserving every stage of a dog’s life. Along with my cats, Meeko and Remy, they’ve taught me how quickly the years move, how much personality lives in the smallest gestures, and why these memories deserve more than a spot in your camera roll.
My sessions are relaxed, patient, and designed around real dogs. The silly grins, quiet cuddles, muddy paws, soft eyes, and perfectly imperfect moments are all part of the story.
I’m not here to create stiff portraits or expect perfect behavior. I’m here to help you remember the dog you love exactly as they are, and turn that connection into artwork you can see and feel every day.
